Trio Guará

Born between the 50's and 60's, in the small districts of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, which worked as a kind of laboratory for instrumental groups, sambajazz is composed of a fine mix of jazz, samba, pre-bossa nova and choros, played with excellence by great groups like Tamba Trio, Zimbo Trio, Raul De Souza, Sambalanço Trio, Edison Machado, Sergio Mendes, Dom Salvador among many others...

A style that is not totally forgotten and ignored today, because of instrumental groups, that remind us of these great encounters of Brazilian music! Our trio, composed by Flávio Iannuzzi (piano), Noa Stroeter (double bass) and Marcos Magaldi (drums), is an example of this!

With EPs of own compositions released since march 2018, and perfomances filled with original arrangements for sambajazz classics, the trio establishes, with much swing and improvisation, a conversation among piano, bass and drums. It promotes an immediate empathy with the public.

Trio Guará invites you to a trip to the 60's, thus providing, at the same time, a nostalgic and sophisticated atmosphere!
