Bio

Composer, arranger and teacher, Flávio had his first contact with music listening to his father practice Bach, Mozart, Hayden and other classical music composers.

At the age of 6 he took his first classical piano lessons and at the age of 19 he studied jazz and bossa nova with professor Levy Miranda.

In 2009 he performed his first works with recordings and arrangements in some studios in São Paulo.

That same year he set up his own studio to record soundtracks. Work that continues to this day.

Passionate about sambajazz trios, a style that combines 2 of the musical genres that Flávio likes most, he brought together two great friends and musicians, Noa Stroeter on acoustic bass and Marcos Magaldi on drums, to form Trio Guará, which since 2016 has released 3 EPs of songs own and has been performing in concert halls and musical events.

He also created Bossa a Dois, a voice and piano duo with singer Vanessa Mosseri, who has been performing at events since 2015.

He wrote arrangements for several recordings and shows, including string quartets and winds.

One of the works that stands out is Acústico Mariana Rios, a trio formed by the singer and actress, with Flávio on piano and Bruno Serroni on cello.

He composed and recorded soundtracks for cinema, theater and television, including the film “30 Years Blues”, awarded at the 47th Gramado Festival, “Solidão Que Nada”, film by Gabriel Alvim awarded at the Italian festival Nòt Film Fest, “Eike All In”, produced by Mariza Leão and Tiago Rezende from Morena Filmes and distributed by Paris 6 (currently on Netflix), “Madame Durocher” feature film written and produced by Rita Buzzar and João Segall and directed by Andradina Azevedo and Dida Andrade, yet to be released… among other feature and short films.
